Type-II Toxin Antitoxin (TA) systems are regulated by differential half-lives of the resulting
non-secreted proteins, such that the neutralizing antitoxin undergoes continual degradation and
replenishment to maintain neutralization of its cognate toxin. Antitoxin proteins are widely
