Introduction to Philosophy: Logic

Abstract

This book is part of the Introduction to Philosophy open textbook series, a set of nine (and counting?) open access textbooks that are designed to be used for introductory-level, survey courses in philosophy at the post-secondary level. This book started as one part of what had originally been conceived as a larger textbook for introduction to philosophy courses, with many different topics; each of those original topics has now become its own book in a larger series, which can be mixed and matched in the ways most useful for particular contexts. The Logic book is best suited to a broader introductory course that includes a a discussion of some of the fundamentals of argumentation and logic; it does not have enough for a full course in formal or informal logic.
